How We Fund Projects

The Nature Fund for National Parks meets on a regular basis with the National Park Service to identify projects that are a priority for the Service and meet Nature Fund’s criteria, including its focus on projects that assist multiple parks and break new ground.  The Nature Fund also brings to the table the interest of its donors.

The Nature Funds seeks donors for specific projects and types of projects.  If you would like us to contact you to discuss possible project sponsorship, please contact us.

In addition to identifying donors that can support single projects, the Nature Fund will pool smaller individual donations to support small National Park Service projects.  If you cannot support a full project at this time, please donate  and your contribution will be pooled with others to support a project.  Small donor projects will be identified on our website.

Nature Fund founders’ experience as former Park Service personnel provides expertise and familiarity to the task of evaluating projects for funding.
